How to Install

Download & Extract

Download the archive above, then extract it with WinRAR/7-Zip to a folder you own — for example C:\Games\billigspelhost. Do not extract into Program Files (Windows permissions break the launcher).

Register an Account

Create a free account on the homepage. The same username and password work in-game — there's no separate game account.

Launch & Play

Run billigspelhost Launcher.exe as Administrator, log in with your account, and the launcher starts the game for you. First launch builds the cache — give it a moment.

Add an Antivirus Exception

Add the whole game folder to your antivirus / Windows Defender exclusions. The anticheat and auth DLL trip false-positives and get deleted — that's the #1 cause of "missing .dll" crashes.

Recommended

Run as Administrator

Right-click the launcher → Run as administrator. The launcher injects the auth DLL into the client, which needs elevation or the game hangs / crashes on launch.

Note

Close the Official Client

Make sure the real Nexon MapleStory isn't running. Two MapleStory clients at once will conflict and one will fail to start.

Troubleshooting

Intel 12th-gen and newer: if the game runs at ~10 FPS, the single best fix is to disable Hyper-Threading in BIOS — it clears the stutter completely. Forcing P-cores with Process Lasso is the easier no-reboot option. AMD Ryzen players: you generally don't get this lag — just run as admin and add the AV exclusion. Most people only need three things: run as Administrator, add the antivirus exclusion, and (Intel 12th-gen+) the CPU fix above.
